Springing in to a Good Week

This week has just been one of those weeks. You know what I am talking about, they’re the ones that just don’t seem to be going right. I don’t know why, but I seem to keep injuring myself this week. If you spend enough time around me you’ll probably start to realize that I can be pretty clumsy! I trip a lot, drop things all the time, and basically just don’t know how to make my body not be awkward. This seems to have been something that is growing recently. Just last night I slammed my finger in between two heavy glass doors at work, the night before I dropped a huge cutting board on the top of my foot, & Monday I was walking to class and I just randomly rolled my ankle and almost fell down. Needless to say, it seems like recently I’ve been quite a danger to my self.

Everything changed today though, and I needed it. The thing that makes my week turn around the most is the people in my life. I got to spend this morning interning with wonderful people and then have a great time at work with my hilarious coworkers. Having positive people around can greatly impact how you feel and I am blessed to have some pretty great friends. Also, I just need to mention the gorgeous weather we have had the last few days! Something about all of this sunshine and being able to role my windows down while driving just made my week so much better. In honor of Spring finally showing up I am going to talk through a few ways to enjoy this weather and make your day a little brighter.

1. Picnic in the park.

Spring time is the perfect time to go out to a local park and just enjoy the warmth. Take a yummy picnic, a good book, and something to do and just enjoy some Vitamin D. Get a group together and catch up with your friends!

2. Go on a hike

Pack a bag with some snacks, your camera, some bug spray, and go out for a scenic hike. Nothing compare to the views you can get on top of a mountain.

3. Take a nap in a hammock

There is not much more relaxing than laying in a hammock and swinging on a nice day. I have had some rough experiences involving hooking an eno to a dead tree and then consequently getting a tree to my head, but if you hang your hammock up secure it can make for a great place to work or just lay back and chill.

Sorry this isn’t the most intricate post, but like I said it has been a crazy week. I have some really exciting posts in the works though so stay tuned for those!! I hope you all are enjoying this weather & have a great weekend!! Much love.

xx,

Bailey
